What Is Kitchen Therapy?
Kitchen Therapy takes a community-based approach to healing your relationship with food and the kitchen. This offering is designed as a 1-on-1 practice or group workshop where coaching & cooking sessions will to guide you through the process of regaining your power and peace in the kitchen. Together, we will uncover the limiting beliefs and stories that may have kept you small, disconnected, and out of touch with nourishing yourself through food.
Through embodiment, empowerment, and cooking lessons, Kitchen Therapy aims to help you break free from these barriers, supporting you in building confidence and reclaiming your power in the kitchen. We will explore your unique story around food, diving into your experiences to uncover what might be holding you back. Using embodiment practices and nourishing cooking techniques, this work invites you to reconnect with the joy of preparing meals, allowing cooking to evolve into a more mindful and empowering practice.
Additionally, we practice daily rituals and routines around mealtime, with the goal of helping you create consistency and engage with fun, life-giving habits. This approach encourages cooking as a joyful, intentional act rather than something done out of obligation or routine. By building these positive habits, cooking can become an act of self-care, bringing calm, connection, and creativity to your everyday life.
Based in Santa Barbara, California, this practice combines personalized coaching with hands-on cooking lessons, helping you not only cook with confidence but also develop a deeper connection to the food you prepare. Together, we’ll work to create a more sustainable, fulfilling relationship with food, empowering you to find peace and joy in the kitchen.
