Vegan Basil & Spinach Pesto

Use this on your favorite pasta, sammies, toast, or fry an egg in it. I sometimes just dip my crackers in it.
Ingredients
What You Need
- 1 cup of Spinach
- 3 cups of Basil
- ½ cup of Lemon juice (if you like yours acidic add more lemon)
- 1 cup Avocado oil (or any neutral oil)
- 2 Cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup Pinenuts (or any other nut or seed you have, sunflower is a good one)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Nutritional yeast
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
Let
- Add all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend on high until you get the desired consistency you want. I like mine smooth with minimal clumps.
- Taste before you serve to make sure it has enough salt and pepper. If you like it spicy add some chili powder.
